I'm Shauntelle Weidner, owner and founder. I'm so happy you found my page! I thought I'd share with you a little bit about why I began Shantilly Lace Photography.
My fascination for still imagery began when I was a teenager. The black & white images spoke to me the most. I would tear out GUESS photos, tape them to the top of my high vaulted bedroom ceiling creating a huge blanket of gorgeous photos. Later, I married & had 3 kiddos. Oh man we would have a blast creating photo shoots, it was easy getting my little monkeys to be my cute adorable models. I shot weddings, impromptu photo shoots & never stopped loving the aspect of imagery and imagination that it took to create a beautiful photo.
In 2015 I had the privilege to work with an award winning photographer, Sean Simpson. This time I was the model. Such an exciting creating experience. I loved the entire process. In 2024 my daughter got engaged and asked me to take their engagement photos, of course I said yes. It was everything I remembered, I felt that same passion wash over me once again. Now my desire is to take beautiful photos of you & for you to have memories that last a lifetime!
My desire is to share my love of photography with each of you. Taking beautiful, unique photos of you, your family, your pets, your wishes, your accomplishments, your passion!! It gives me great honor to photograph you during this moment of time in your life. I truly get teary eyed thinking about how brief yet so important moment this is and how I am privileged to photograph and give it to you so it can last a lifetime in your heart and in your family for generations to come. There really is nothing more special than a photograph. A moment caught in time never to be duplicated again.
